DETAILS

Team Garcia and one other team will participate in this full day activity.  All other students will have classes and service as usual. The second team involved will be posted when information becomes available.  The Forest View Educational Center High Ropes Course is suspended from the ceiling of the field house.  High ropes involves teamwork, climbing, and maneuvering.  It's a full day problem solving, teamwork and physical education activity.  Participants should dress comfortably for an active day.  Vipers attend this outing with their team under the direction of their team leader and the physical education teacher.  Safety is the primary goal. In keeping with Vanguard's "challenge by choice" philosophy, no one is required or forced to do any activity.   All team members are expected to attend and support one another.  Participants will attend their regular PE and Vanguard class before high ropes and return for P.M. team.  Participants should let their service site know in advance when they will attend high ropes and they should  get the work they will miss in their regular classes.  The goal is to give every team the opportunity to participate in high ropes during the course of each school year.
